Gregory Adolf, DVM
A graduate of the University of Minnesota in 1998 with a doctorate in veterinary medicine, Dr. Adolf focuses on large animal care and small animal orthopedics.
Sarah Preszler, DVM
A 2006 graduate of Iowa State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine, Dr. Preszler focuses on small animal internal medicine, preventative medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Preszler started at Northern Plains in 2014 after practicing in Casselton, ND and Mitchell, SD. She enjoys reading books and crafting activities with her family.
Angie Rotenberger, DVM
A graduate of Iowa State University in 1993 with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Angie focuses on small animal internal medicine, preventative medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Angie moved to Aberdeen in 2017 after practicing in Texas for 24 years and raising her two daughters Megan and Erica. She married her vet school classmate, Gary who she reconnected with at the 20 year vet school reunion. They enjoy hunting with their small munterlanders Nikki and Von, spending time on the lake, gardening, and canning. Pictured with her is her beloved golden retriever, Chessy who has passed over the Rainbow Bridge. She also has a passion for dog training - she and her dogs hold titles in Hunt Tests, Dock Diving, and Agility.
Nicole Holmquist, DVM
A 2021 graduate from the University of Minnesota with a doctorate in veterinary medicine, Dr. Nicole focuses on small and large animal medicine, soft tissue surgeries, and small animal orthopedic surgeries. She is an outdoor enthusiast who spends her free time kayaking, hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
Angela, Clinic Manager
Angela started her career at Northern Plains in 2012 as a customer service representative. In her tenure with the clinic, she had many roles including, customer service representative, large and small animal vet assistant, boarding manager, and currently the clinic manager. She has lived in Aberdeen most of her life raising 4 children in the community. Now that her children are grown, she is a proud pet parent to a sheepadoodle named Woody and a golden retriever named Seeley Rose. Angela enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and doing pretty much anything outdoors with her husband Robb and children Paige, Dillon, and Paris. The top of the mountain is where she is the happiest.
Shannon, Vet Tech
Shannon has been with Northern Plains since 2008 as a registered Veterinary Technician. She obtained a B.S. in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. Her favorite part of her career is taking care of the elderly pets, and giving them a little extra TLC. She would one day like to have a retirement community for small dogs, specifically Chihuahuas and Min Pins.
Erica, Vet Tech
Erica graduated from Ridgewater College with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2020. Erica has also completed Fear Free training. She began working at Northern Plains in 2017 in our boarding facility. She grew up near Aberdeen and graduated from Warner High School. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, camping, reading, and spending time with her two dogs and two cats. She loves meeting all the pets that walk through the door. Pictured with her is Frankie, her 11-year-old pug. Frankie inspired her to work in the veterinary field.
Chloe, Vet Tech
Chloe graduated from Ridgewater College with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2023. She began working at Northern Plains in July of 2023. She grew up near a little town called Monango and graduated from Ellendale High School. Outside of work, she enjoys farming, camping, traveling, spending time with friends, five dogs, goats, and pigs. Growing up on a farm inspired her to pursue work in the veterinary field.
Mandi, Customer Service Rep
Mandi has been a customer service representative at Northern Plains since 2019. She enjoys working at the busy pace the clinic operates at. Mandi has lived most of her life in Aberdeen with her husband and two grown sons. They now share their home with 3 canine companions. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, travel, and spends much of her summer (her favorite season) riding motorcycles with her friends and family.
Maria Jenkins, Veterinary Technician and Customer Service Representative
Maria graduated in 2024 from NDSU with a bachelor of science in Veterinary Technology and a minor in Animal Science. Originally from Aberdeen, but graduated from Leola High School, she interned with us in the summer of 2023. Maria began working full-time in 2024. From a young age she loved animals and attending the horse races where her mother was a bookkeeper. She is a certified yapper and loves to talk! She enjoys spending time with family and traveling as well as spending time with animals.
Amanda Gibson, Veterinary Assistant
Amanda grew up on a small family farm in Florida where her love of animals began. After graduating she lived across the United States before settling in Aberdeen. Amanda started as a kennel assistant in 2022 then becoming full time Veterinary assistant in 2024. She comes to us with over 10 years of customer service background along with dedication and passion in caring for all animals. When she’s not at the clinic Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and dog traveling and embracing the outdoors through a variety of activities.
Brooke Huber, Boarding Manager
Brooke joined Northern Plains Animal Health as the Boarding Manager in August of 2024. After many years in the fitness industry Brooke decided it was time for a change. She loves taking care of the furry part of your family and making sure they are well taken care of while you are away. Brooke grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Central High School in 2012. During her free time she enjoys weight lifting, running, seeing live music, a good comedy show, spending time with friends and family, and of course being with her dog Luna.
